EINSTEIN'S NEW BOOK
Disney Book Group is proud to announce it will publish a photographic picture book about the miracle of Einstein—the smallest horse ever born—and his search for a perfect friend. The agreement for North American rights was negotiated by Stephanie Owens Lurie, Editorial Director, Disney-Hyperion, an imprint of Disney Book Group, and Cheryl Pientka of Grinberg Literary. The book is scheduled for publication in April 2011, just in time to celebrate Einstein’s first birthday.
A Friend for Einstein: The Smallest Stallion, written by Einstein’s owners, Charles Cantrell and Dr. Rachel Wagner, celebrates the unique size and personality of the mini miniature horse. Cantrell also contributed all of the photographs that appear in the book.
“Readers big and small will fall in love with Einstein,” said Lurie. “We’re excited to have this opportunity to share his heartwarming story with the world.”
According to Cantrell, "Einstein's new book has been a pure labor of love. I took several thousand photos of our little stallion over the past six months, and am excited to share a rare glimpse into his personal life with the rest of the world."
