From time to time Einstein has to travel. With homes on both coasts and requests for media and personal appearances across the country the need for a safe comfortable way to travel is important.
Einstein's needs are quite different from that of a dog or cat. He requires soft clean bedding, a large living area (stall) , fresh hay, ventilation, consistent climate, and plenty of room for his grooming and food supplies. Oh yes he also needs room to accommodate his fur friends, and humans, Rachel and Charlie along with his traveling fur nanny to look after his every need.
Einstein's humans searched all over the country for the perfect horse transport vehicle. They finally decided upon a 36 ft Seneca ZX motor coach, his Mobile Barn Unit (MBU), which is affectionately called the "Barnasaurus". Einstein thinks of it as simply "Barney".
The Barnasuarus sits on a commercial grade Kodiak Chassis and is powered by a Chevy Duramax 5500 turbo-diesel engine, along with an automatic six speed Allison transmission. The coach has a hydraulic lift gate on back for the little stud and is fully self contained with 6 kilowatts of electrical power and a week's worth of water and food on board should there be a need to stand down for any length of time. The Barnasaurus has an automatic hydraulic leveling system, forced air heating / air conditioning and digital surround sound throughout. Einstein has heat / air conditioning digital TV and surround sound in his quarters as well. The Barnasuarus sleeps six humans as well as Einstein, Lilly the white boxer, and his two goatie girls, Eleanor and Isabel There is a bathroom with shower inside for the humans and an outdoor shower with hot water for Einstein. The kitchen includes an oven, stove, microwave, refrigerator and freezer. Einstein's humans are vegetarians and prefer organic foods, so good kitchen food prep amenities are important. No meat is served in Einstein's Barney out of respect for him and his fur friends. Einstein's quarters has closed circuit TV to allow viewing of him and the goatie girls while driving. The Barnasaurus has full time wireless internet access and phones on board so Einstein can do interviews and conduct his business while on the road.
